Künstliche Intelligenz (KI) braucht leistungsstarke Rechenzentren. Auch in Deutschland entstehen viele neue Anlagen. Doch Rechenzentren verbrauchen große Mengen Wasser zur Kühlung und wegen des hohen Strombedarfs werden in Deutschland jetzt sogar neue Gaskraftwerke gebaut. Zudem will Wirtschaftsministerin Katherina Reiche nun auch noch gesetzliche Vorgaben zur Nachhaltigkeit an die Bedürfnisse der Tech-Konzerne anpassen. Werden Klimaziele und Nachhaltigkeit dem KI-Boom geopfert?
