An asymptotic field approach for the control of dipole emission in integrated structures
We present a general framework to model spontaneous emission in integrated photonic structures by exploiting quantization of the electromagnetic field in terms of asymptotic in/out modes. This approach allows for an efficient and physically meaningful calculation of the emission rate into each radiative channel of an arbitrary structure, without relying on approximations such as Lorentzian lineshapes or point-like system-bath coupling. We report the discovery of fullerene in the circumstellar environment of WRAY~16-232, a strong candidate luminous blue variable. Multiple pointings of archival \textit{Spitzer} IRS spectra reveal, for the first time, the presence of prominent vibrational bands of C$_{60}$ at 17.4 and 18.9~$μ$m in an LBV envelope, along with the strong polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon features. Dipolar electroweak properties of Dirac massive neutrinos
Electroweak properties of Dirac neutrinos within the context of the Minimally Extended Standard Model are explored. In particular, the dipolar form factors that result from the radiative correction, at one-loop level, of the $ Zν\barν$ coupling are identified. We present the first evaluation of resonance contributions to the charged-current (anti)neutrino-nucleon elastic scattering at GeV energies, focusing on the dominant $Δ(1232)$ resonance. Using a data sample of $(2.712 \pm 0.014)\times10^{9}$ $ψ(3686)$ events collected at $\sqrt{s}=3.686$ GeV by the BESIII detector, we search for the rare electromagnetic Dalitz decays $χ_{cJ}\to e^+e^-ϕ~(J=0,\,1,\,2)$ via the radiative transitions $ψ(3686)\toγχ_{cJ}$. No statistically significant $χ_{cJ}\to e^+e^-ϕ$ signals are observed.
