Past me really was an asshole with this 7am flight.
Heading to London for 9ish days because of course dual nationals aren’t allowed to use the 1 day passport service anymore like other citizens.
Classic UK.
Extremely bittersweet canceling my @… subscription.
On one hand really glad I found a solution that lets me use bluesky mastadon in a way I want - sad it’s not from Tapbots and sad that its essentially a clone of what they did best first.
Been loyal since day 1 Tweetbot but ultimately, need solutions to problems and waiting can only go so far.
This Social Spec initiative is quite interesting, very old-internet and I like it.

Yeah I think I will switch entirely over to Indigo from Ivory.
Love me some Tapbots software and I know they have had a rough time but also software companies need to ship software to retain a customer base
Time to move on and Indigo seems really good. The unified timeline and multi account support is 👌
And it has proper timed mutes of any dimension that makes using the internet bearable
The sad cargo cult here who repost anything negative without any scrutiny about a set of topics including right wing bots, AI etc is pretty fucking sad.
The Russian bot story is probably false and have been known to be false for a long enough time that there really is no more excuse.

Waited for Tapbots to do their Bluesky client - I really can’t survive without how they do mutes - but keep looking for alternatives as it’s just way too slashdot user rich here.
Indigo is like a tweetbot/ivory clone that supports both Mastodon and Bluesky and has a unified timeline, mutes how I want etc.
Seems worth a look https://an…
Docker released essentially the same tool as my little Fisk AI agent, but quite nicely integrated in the docker tooling. Though a fair few gaps from what mine does

Be interesting to see how this goes. Think it’s a great idea for social housing
