Recently switched to using Thunderbird for my yahoo email.
The problem is that unless Thunderbird is open, Yahoo will flag something as spam before my Thunderbird filters get to it.
Only solution I've found so far is basically having to put rules/filters in yahoo...which partially defeats the purpose of an desktop client.
Any ideas? (turning off spam filtering in yahoo apparently isn't an option anymore)

Nu is elke e-mail met «Loket» in de naam van de afzender bij voorbaat spam.
«Landelijk energieopslag loket»
«Gemeentelijk isolatie loket»
«Het officiele subsidie loket»
en vele variaties met de woorden in andere volgorde.
if "loket" in sender:
spam
draag me weg stelletje prutsers.
(on a sidenote, de Odido-spam groeit hard, geen verassing daar, op dit moment is 1% van alle spam op mijn Odido e-mailadres)

The good thing about being back in the office and in front of my laptop all day is Inbox Zero can be maintained in a much more constant state.
Did my semi-annual purge and ‘unsubscribe’ from spam as well. With not too many faculty back yet, my email is currently feeling both slim *and* calm.
How many of the folks reading this are Inbox Zero People (ie. heavy email filterers)

Here's a perfect #blog #AntiSpam idea: put an URL field, and say "to pass, you must leave that field empty". Challenge difficulty level: impossible.
