A short history of #SQLGlot:
2023-07: SQLGlot is added to #Gentoo.
2023-12: Rust extension is added.
2026-03: Rust extension is replaced by mypyc compilation.
2026-03: SQLGlot now requires its own mypy fork… 🤦
Seriously, what are these people thinking?!
EDIT: and of course it's LLM #slop now.
