Kidnapper executes victim in front of sheriff’s deputies in Chino Hills
A kidnapper fatally shot a victim in a car trunk during a Chino Hills traffic stop Wednesday night,
moments before deputies opened fire, authorities said.
Deputies were responding to reports of gunfire and cries for help when they stopped the vehicle,
initially unaware the shooting was part of an ongoing kidnapping.
The driver and victim died at the scene, while a passenger surrendered.

Recently a new #cat started walking through the neighborhood. Since he tends to be singing while he's walking, I provisionally named him Jaskier (for the Witcher character, lit. buttercup, though renamed to Dandelion in translation).
So Jaskier is sitting below the window, singing. Ruh 🐱 is sitting behind the mosquito net, in an open window, and twittering back at him. He jumps on the outer windowsill, a distance away from her (i.e. behind the closed window panel). She shouts at him.

So I had always thought that Erie liked to sit on laptop keyboards because of the warmth from the machine underneath.
But no, here she is sitting on a bluetooth keyboard (and it's not even on). She does it not for the warmth, but just to be a jerk. Though to be fair, I DID take her to the vet today, so I deserve it.
