Made a new recording yesterday of #Rautavaara's O ihr Zärtlichen, for an audition. Trying out my recording gear, I used #Ardour as my DAW for recording and mixing, and #Shotcut for editing the video.
Turned out quite well, I must say, though I do want to move a bit more, next time 🙈 You live and you learn...

In de Bachcantate die ik in februari mag gaan zingen zijn mijn eerste woorden "Mijn Jesus, trek mij." 😏 (BWV 22, "Mein Jesu, ziehe mich, so werd ich laufen;")
In dit geval schromelijk uit de context gehaald, natuurlijk, maar de verheerlijking van Jesus neemt wel vaker haast erotische vorm aan in cantates. Iets waar ik dan natuurlijk hard om giechel.
