The viewing angles on the #Skmei 2514 are still not quite Casio level but they aren't terrible either.
These are IMHO fairly extreme. Day to day I would be unlikely to look at the watch at angles sharper than this.

Skmei digital watch tilted backwards. The numbers remain highly readable, albeit with a little shadowing underneath.

So I picked up a #Skmei 2514 as well recently. This is a very close copy of the Casio A168WEHA-9AEF. With recent reports being that Casio is killing off the A168 altogether and with this variant already being discontinued for a while I can feel OK with this purchase. Yes you can find a few places with some old stock or well maintained second hand copies, but they would generate Casio no money …
