For some days now the air smells strange as if there would be a fire nearby. But there isn’t one. Also no general information about fires in the surroundings. Is it possible to smell the wood fires from southern Europe around Lake Geneva? I know that Sahara sand is traveling far, but smoke?

Gestern war der Sonnenuntergang sehr untypisch. Da kein Sahara-Staub unterwegs sein soll, ist die Frage, ob das vielleicht Smog war?
Edit: Sahara-Staub ist wohl doch der Grund gewesen.
