The Justice Department has moved to preemptively block certification of the results of Alaska’s Senate race if Republican incumbent Sen. Dan S. Sullivan loses his tight race against Democrat Mary Peltola next month.

In a lawsuit filed in federal court Thursday, department officials described the candidacy of a third contender in the race
— another Republican named Dan J. Sullivan Jr.
— as a bid to mislead supporters of Sen. Sullivan into voting for the wrong candidate.

Als bejaarde hartpatiënt heb ik regelmatig koude voeten, dat is voor mij een nieuw fenomeen. Nu heb ik deze pantoffels. Oostenrijks. Wol, gebreid en gevilt, met rubber zool. Perfect, of te warm, dat weet ik nog niet...

Nachdem Webtrees, Roundcube, Matomo und Alpine dann doch noch relativ zeitnah gepatcht haben, kann ich jetzt beruhigt das Terminal zumachen und schlafengehen!

Wenn du im Büro auf einmal tiefes Schnarchen hörst und dich verwundert nach schlafenden Kolleg:innen umschaust - und dann ist es doch nur Findus, der Bürohund, der unter dem Schreibtisch pennt.

Salvini will keine Asylbewerber aus DE zurücknehmen, weil deutsche Hilfswerke auch Menschen vor dem Ertrinken im Mittelmeer retten.

Aber so rechtsnationalen Popolisten wie Salvini sind Menschenleben und das Gesetz ja egal. 🙄

Jetzt muss ich doch die Biscuiterie entmystifizieren: Die Franzosen backen nämlich auch nur mit Teig.
Mein teures Experiment hat ergeben, dass die Kekse, die man gereicht bekommt, köstlich schmecken, weil sie am selben Tag gebacken wurden. Nimmt man eine gemischte Tüte aus dem Regal, isst man wie auch hierzulande süßen Sand.
Und: Die Premium-Macarons von Aldi (Nord) schmecken genauso gut, sind aber fast dreimal billiger.
