Unfortunately even though its in production now, it won't be shown for at least 1 years from now (Season 4 is supposed to come out some time this year).

I have very strong feelings of affection towards Star Trek: Lower Decks 🥰 You know how kids don't have a concept of being childish and instead everything cool is awesome? Like, Trek awesome? Something about the premise of the penultimate episode, "Terrarium", felt too derivative, and I forgot about the series. Now that I watched both episodes, I have to say, "New Life and New Civilizations" hit all the right notes on the theremin. SNW is indulging and beautifully crafted Trek.

I don't care what other people say
Just binged on all 3 of the first episodes and loved them! I had my doubts, but they were all photon torpedoed into loving the show.
Yeah, it’s about kids. But as they said, “It's a school”.
The show brings the core ideals and philosophy of Star Trek and makes them into excellent teachable moments.
Looking forward to the cast gelling as it always takes time for a new Star Trek to get its footing. But it’s pretty solid already. Love what Holly Hunter is doing with the chancellor/captain. Gina Yashere is totally amazing and can feel her joy in the roll in every scene she's in. And Tig Notaro is totally fabulously funny in a so dry sort of way. Also being partners with Gina's character is just perfect in being so unperfect.
