Saw a #rainbow after a #sunset storm. After I looked at it a few minutes, I realized it had filled in all the way across. A small crowd formed, outside the grocery store, taking pictures and ooh-ing.

Today's #sunset in Bochum, Germany, with the spot groups - spaceweather.com/images2026/28 - 4478 and 4479 (and a swift) pretty prominent: see bsky.app/profile/cosmos4u.bsky for four other time steps! Had thought the Sun was lost for good behind a cloud bank, but then it had reappeared just above the horizon - in a fiery deep red color impossible to capture on camera.

if you look carefully, you can just see the last tiny bit of the sun as it dips behind the sea, just to the left of the stick in the center.

Weird sunset vibes although sun still has almost two hours to go, but dark clouds and haze make for some strong contrasts.
Also a nice symmetry between the sun and it's reflection on the water, plus the clouds and dark ground.
