While I was out hardware shopping, my wife had an opportunity to witness the food chain up close. A small hawk was tearing feathers off of a smaller bird in our backyard. We think it was a Morning Dove, but without forensic services, we can't be sure. Apologies for the blurry photo... or perhaps not if you're squeamish.
