Switzerland forecasts 1.5 GW annual solar growth through 2027
Swissolar's "Solar Monitor 2025" report projects annual PV additions of about 1.5 GW through 2027 and urges policymakers to sustain steady growth amid policy uncertainty and lower tariffs.

Johnny Harris (he doesn't seem to have a presence here) has a really good video out right now on public transportation in Switzerland. "By law, every village in Switzerland, which has people living all year round, they have the right of public transportation. It can be a train, it can be a gondola, it can be a bus. Whatever." That's pretty cool.

I was surprised to learn that famously neutral #Switzerland 🇨🇭 has been a member of the Council of Europe 🇪🇺 (which is *not* the same as either of the European Council 🇪🇺 and the Council of the European Union 🇪🇺) since 1963. For reference, Switzerland joined the #UnitedNations in 2002.

Wonder why this #Indonesia #fire, which I only just read about, didn't get nearly as much attention as the one that happened in #Switzerland a week later.
