Porn platforms, payment processors, and opaque algorithms should not decide which bodies, desires, fantasies, or communities are allowed to exist online.
I am preparing a talk about decentralized networks, erotic art, privacy, furry and anime-inspired work, kink, fantasy, and creative freedom.

A smart drug that stops cancer cells “hiding” from treatment can shrink tumours by at least 30% in six of the world’s most common forms of the disease, early trial results show.
While immunotherapy treatments have improved survival rates for many patients,
their effectiveness can stall or fail when tumour cells hide and then spread.
Researchers in Oxford have developed a drug designed to stop cancer cells concealing themselves from the immune system,
allowing immunoth…

No. #Utah State Senator Todd Weiler is not new to politics. He knows Alliance for a Better Utah. It's existed since June 2012 and been active in advocacy that whole time.
It's a local nonprofit with annual, public Form 990s.
If Todd was "duped", he was a willing dupee. Kevin O'Leary was obviously lying to Fox News for an audience outside of Utah politics.

That feeling when your renderer can handle a component that outputs HTML inside link text in Markdown that’s embedded in HTML.

Hmmm how do you record a visual artifact that doesn't appear in screenshots?
I have a specific image that appears to trigger some kind of compression or encoding or signal integrity artifact inside my monitor or the link from the PC to it.
When I screenshot the image and zoom to anything other than 1:1 pixel resolution, it looks normal. On my other monitor it's fine. The artifact appears only when I display it at native resolution on this monitor.
I guess I'm go…

California fire prevention money may shrink
After years of record investment by the state in such wildfire risk mitigation, two key money sources are drying up, potentially reducing the state’s annual budget for vegetation removal by hundreds of millions of dollars.
Wildfire resiliency advocates are warning that the loss of these funds will leave the state vulnerable to devastation and are calling on California’s next governor to take that threat seriously.
Currently, Cali…
