Watched Solar Opposites, a cartoon started by Justin Roiland like Rick and Morty with lots in common.
Including Roiland being kicked out after a couple of seasons for his crimes, and being replaced. This time not with an impersonator but just a new more british actor. Stayed pretty much in vibe with his style though.
Four aliens stuck on earth, plus the adventures of the tiny people that one of the aliens shrunk to keep in his wall like an ant farm. And the Silver Cops.
Pretty good fun. Watched the five seasons on Netflix in a couple of weeks. Apparently there's another if I search or wait.
Interesting how the machine can just keep churning it out even when the lead folks disappear. That's the ideal I suppose. Create the show then let it run on without you.

I've started watching *This England* on iView in Australia. I think it's a pretty good laying out of what happened in the UK with the policy decisions around Covid. While it's based on fact it is fictionalised.

Yesterday and tomorrow 50 years ago #OTD German TV viewers saw the premiere of an extraordinary nature documentary in two parts: #spiders by #HorstStern was a towering triumph in #TV nature #documentaries, and I still recall being blown away seeing it back then.

I am quite keen to watch The War Between The Land And The Sea on iplayer.
But we need to consider tactics. Will the folks sit and watch it with me at Xmas? If they would that'd perhaps be better than whatever drivel quiz shows and police car chase stuff they normally make me watch.
If they won't I'll be be postponing it three weeks for no reason.
