Zojuist samen kennisgemaakt met onze nieuwe huisarts. Vriendelijke jonge vrouw. Onze vorige huisarts vertrok in 2021 uit het gezondheidscentrum, sindsdien alleen tijdelijk en en vervangers gezien. Maar nu lijkt er weer wat opgebouwd te kunnen worden. Dat is fijn, we zijn best "zware" patiënten.

Professional societies, I beg you, please shorten the name of the Super-Long-Dude's-Name Memorial Prize in Whatever Studies. It's torture trying to include it in my tightly limited cover letter nominating a colleague for another prize with a name that's way too long. Like, if you just called it the Best Prize or something, I'd save two full lines.

Things I hate about our #ERP system in no particular order
- when you add a row to a grid element and you change a value in some cell in that row that causes the row to move up/down in the grid, you lose input focus; wouldn't be a big deal unless adding a new row is always at the bottom and you may want to specify that row goes in between two existing rows and you're doing rapid entry with the …

I had ONE more thing to do before I wrapped up a dozen different things and I need to read ONE ducking PDF to get the ONE figure I need. And now I'm being DOC-BLOCKED by Adobe. Typical.
(I worked around it, but my disappointment with Adobe is immeasurable and my afternoon is ruined.)

Try switching between a machine using an Apple keyboard from the early 2000s and then a modern Apple laptop keyboard
The 2000s keyboard is like pushing keys that are made of little miniature marshmallows (still a great keyboard, just a very different feel 😂)
