There've been plenty of opinions proffered on the BAAJA bill over the past few weeks (mine here: https://www.transitiontimes.net/tt-17-my-verdict-on-baaja/) but those don't move markets.
What moves markets is the companies themselves, and the energy transition …
The Catholic Church often commissioned artworks depicting saints, angels and sacred stories. In the sixteenth century, there was a movement to start showing religious images in more relatable fashion, with the hope that people would identify themselves more with these figures. Damiano said the church hoped this effect would “elicit more piety, more devotion, by seeing this happen by example.”

To the extent future models understand themselves, it will be through the collection of the data in the media and press about them.
If the press decide Claude is more kind and Grok is less woke, will they actually work that way?
Will they write as though they realize they are who they are? Will they recognize themselves in their old training data?
Or will they just be a commodity weight-set that you reboot with a different provider more easily than you change your email address?
Looking more like the latter to me.
They're much of a muchness.
Which isn't good news for those investing like their company-pick will rule the world.

Client’s sending half-baked prototypes again and asking if they can just add them to the site themselves.
Thanks, Dario!

I’ve heard reports exactly like this in • every • single • election • since 2004. And every time, when somebody finally manages to get to the bottom of it, it turns out the culprit is garbage UI design — not the machine secretly changing votes (because why would it •show• the user if it’s actually cheating?!).
But these breathless stories about touchscreen voting aren’t going die unless touchscreen voting itself dies — because it’s a terrible idea.
Paper ballots, marked directly by the voter themselves, validated and counted in an optical scanner. It’s not rocket science, folks.
