Have you ever had your Thunderbolt dock short out? Not sure what happened, but static electricity knocked it offline. Then I unplugged and plugged back in and it was fine.

Während man früher Sound, Grafik, Netzwerk und vieles mehr beliebig tauschen oder nachrüsten konnte, haben viele Mini-PCs und Laptops diese Möglichkeiten auf den ersten Blick nicht. Aber eben nur auf den Ersten, denn der dazu nötige PCIe-Bus kann man auf diversen Wegen aus dem Gerät herausholen. Im Endkundenbereich kennt man dazu z.B. eGPUs, welche per Thunderbolt angebunden …

A Thunderbolt 4 cable went bad this morning. WTF?!
Now I have to walk from one room to another holding a cable into each workstation I have set up.
