@jake4480@c.im#ThursDeath this week is just one song. PHANTASM covered the Yardbirds' 'For Your Love' on their 'The Abominable' demo in 1992. The rest of the demo I'm not into, but this is my #1 favorite metal cover of anything, and one of my overall favorite covers of all time.
@jake4480@c.imThis week's #ThursDeath is the new EP 'Demise Profanation' by Tallinn, Estonia's GANGRENATED, and it's a great one. This and the Voidhämmer EP from earlier this year are my two favorite metal EPs of 2026 so far. 'Demise Profanation' churns and sludges along in a gross, putrid way - no frills, just riffs and nasty, burbling, gurgling vocals. Just how I like it. And a Mortician…
