#ThursDeath this week is this awesome new 3 song demo from Minnesota's CONCUSSED (one man project of Eric Wing), which is on label Carrion Chalice. These are 3 grody tracks of death with an oldschool feel - psyched to see what else comes outta this one. 🔥
This week's #ThursDeath is DEATH TUNNEL, the members of which are natives from the nearby (to me) Salt River Reservation here in Arizona. Death Tunnel have been around since 2021, had an LP last year, and another this year, 'Predisposed to Decompose': https://
#ThursDeath this week is a classic. This is 'Ritual of Infinity', the only full length released by Middletown, New York's MORPHEUS DESCENDS, in 1992.

Bonus #ThursDeath. This is new LP 'The Perfect Specimen' by Crescent City, Florida's OSSIFICATION, and it's fucking KILLER. Old school style, maybe Dying Fetus vibes. Brutal, but a solo or two here or there. Wild guitar shit on track 6. It's a CONTENDER. And it's NYP!
This week's #ThursDeath is debut LP 'Chasm of Immurement' by Warsaw''s CLAIRVOYANCE. Not sure how I missed this last year, as I loved their EP. This is some KILLER cavernous, churning, CRUSHING death doom with great dynamics and excellent faster/mid-tempo spots too.
This week needs so much #ThursDeath, we're doing a twofer. These are two masterpieces of 90s death metal via Buffalo, New York's BAPHOMET, released just a year apart--
'Inheritors of the Dead' from 1991:
#ThursDeath for this week is the excellent debut EP 'Under the Mantle of Desolation' from Chile's blackened death-doom outfit MYST that came out a couple days ago.

Bonus #ThursDeath this week because the new STRANGULIATORIUS is fully up now to hear on Bandcamp. Stranguliatorius are from Vilnius, Lithuania. I'd heard some of their earlier stuff, which is okay, but their new LP here, 'Flies Don't Lie' is a MASTERPIECE of metal. There's barks and growls but also guttural vocals, dynamics, changes, really weird guitar - cool spots everywhere.
For #ThursDeath this week, DWELLING BELOW released their sophomore LP 'Worrisome Guardians' earlier this year, and this record is a masterclass in great, slightly dissonant death.
