Anyone not familiar with the Haymarket Martyrs, Sacco and Vanzetti, the Seattle Grand Jury Resisters, etc, might want to spend a bit of time learning about how history has drawn a pretty straight and unchanging line.
The murder and torture carried out by the state in the past cannot be undone, but there is still time to prevent yet another flood of injustice.
We can all look backwards and clearly see the mistakes of the past. But can be so much harder see the present clearly, even when it's so incredibly stark as this.
