When they reach for ads to monetize a website you know it’s basically over
The title of the blog post blog was clickbait for me. It argues #Thinkpad fandom boils down to price, build quality, and repairability.
There is one glaringly obvious omission any longtime user should spot immediately. There is no mention of the unique trackpoint-based keyboard design that you can't find anywhere else.
I've stopped using ThinkPads as my primary platform f…

Basically:
- Spotify Wrapped used to be a dull email
- Design intern proposed turning it into an ~~experience~~, demoed her idea
- They didn’t hire her, but the redesign looks a lot like what she proposed
- Spotify says “nuh-uh, and besides lots of people contributed to it.” OK.

Here’s so many technologies that are actually helpful and amazing and I’m exited about, here’s some more:
- e-paper
- health tracking that alerts to possible conditions
- safety features in vehicles
- new vaccines
- those soundboards for pets allowing them to form sentences
- 3D printing
- LED lights
- new, less dangerous battery technologies
And so much more
