Having just read an excellent student paper comparing and contrasting The Crucible and The Hunt to The Salem Witch Trials and The Red Scare, I can only wonder how Americans once again fail to see the obvious when a high school student sees it so painfully clearly. What would be the new “Have you no sense of decency”? I suppose a good start would be for the media to become literate and call a spade a spade rather than attempting to pretend that there are two legitimate sides.
