#UWM is facing calls to cut 5-10% of expenses immediately while both international enrollment and grant-funded research are plummeting. Tuition has been frozen and the state has been cutting back what they contribute to the UW system since the Walker years. There isn't any "low-hanging fruit" left. This is inevitable.

The university I work for started offering "microcredentials" (requires fewer credits than a certificate or degree program). I wonder if perspective employers are into this or not.
