(this started as a reply to a Polish post, but it's curious enough that I'll repost in English as well)
"#Łódź" is a city in Poland. Out of four letters, three are diacritics. Therefore, one letter ("d") falls into Basic Latin, one ("ó") into Latin-1 Supplement and two ("Ł" and "ź") into Latin Extended-A.
Depending on the character encoding used, you can get "Łódź", or transliteration into "Lódz" (Latin 1) or "Lodz" (ASCII).
On top of that, there's the matter of decomposition. "Ł" cannot be decomposed, but "ó" and "ź" can — into a Basic Latin letter "Combining Acute Accent".
