Als Nederland geen veevoer meer importeert, daalt de uitstoot van stikstof met 45 procent. Als we daarbij ook nog eens het dieet aanpassen en gaan eten volgens de richtlijnen van de schijf van vijf, heeft een nog groter effect, berekende de Wageningen Universiteit. ‘Het is beter voor jou en ook voor de planeet’, zegt hoogleraar Imke de Boer.
