I am very impressed by a relocation of pedestrian and cycling paths on South East False Creek in #Vancouver. Nice wide, separate paths.
I would prefer that the median left flat and sprinkled with grass seed was more of a barrier. Cycle tracks are already clear across the divider. One of the more effective barriers has been rose bushes, now coming into flower.

We went to the Firehall Arts Centre for a matinee performance of Chelsea Hotel: The Songs of Leonard Cohen. The run ends on March 3 but I will still recommend it if you are in #Vancouver. The cast of 6 are all accomplished musicians. Some of the arrangements were new to me. Cohen doesn't have a happy song but still unusual and worthwhile.

Google Lens is usually pretty good at finding what is in the picture - but this one stumped it. It is in the Orpheum Theatre in #Vancouver and probably has some civic significance. Or maybe it's just a fanciful decoration.

We went to the Orpheum last night to see Buster Keaton "Go West" - which I have not seen before as there was no usable print until recently. This trio plays 1920's popular music before the show. I was standing watching them when I noticed that everyone coming up the stairs into the bar and hearing this music broke out into a broad grin.
