A woman who made what she thought would be a quick trip across the border between B.C. and Washington state was picked up by ICE and has spent the last three weeks in an immigration detention facility with her six-year-old son.

We have not seen many seals this close for a while. Jericho Pier has reopened - which means there are now more people setting crab traps. Our theory is that the seals like the chicken necks the crab fishers throw away when they are finished.
