Our lovely colleagues from the #Ukraine #Antarctic science centre gave a great showcase of all their science work in OCEAN ICE this evening, highlight was either the penguins or the direct link up with their #VernadskyStation boss: Anzhelika Hanchuk, one of a generation of seriously badass Ukrainian scientists keeping the longest meteorological records from Antarctica alive (80 years next year since you ask).
And they were kind enough to bring me a new (also seriously badass) gift with dedication of their many colleagues now serving in Armed Forces of Ukraine
