Prescribed $p$-curvature problem on Riemannian manifolds with negative curvature
Let $(N,g)$ be a compact Riemannian manifold with negative curvature of dimension $n\geq 3$. This paper investigates the prescribed curvature problem defined by the $p$-fold sum of the modified Shouten tensor for $1\leq p\leq n$. Vassiliev spectral sequence and Sinha spectral sequence are both related to cohomology of the space of long knots $\mathbb{R}\to \mathbb{R}^3$. Maybe I'm in my own little info bubble but I find it hard to believe that 60% of Canadians would support a new pipeline from Alberta to the west coast. I was disappointed with Carney's negotiation/capitulation to Smith, and I think longterm it's a misstep by the Liberals. Indigenous People will fight it tooth and nail, and we should support them in that effort. B.C. doesn't want a new terminal on their coast. Demand for oil continues to drop and there's a real risk the pipeline is severely underused upon completion. Most of the money made from oil moving through this pipe will leave Canada. Canada's reputation is polluted with this announcement while the majority of countries continue to develop alternative energy solutions. I can understand the support from Alberta as the province doesn't appear to have a strategy for transitioning from an oil dependent economy. But who are the other Canadians that Angus Reid surveyed?
