Reports that #columbia chapter of the American association of university professors by a vote of
295:106:32 y:n:abstain call for a
“vote of no confidence in President Shafik, the Co-Chairs of the Board of Trustees, and the COO.

The facilities worker who has claimed to have been held hostage - was asked to leave- but he didn’t want to go, according to the interviewee. Will have to see if they release the video of that encounter.
#wkcr is reporting that they have been locked out of their station. They are playing a prerecorded message relayed in by a remote computer.
They are supposed to be covering the arraignment of arrested #ColumbiaUniversity protestors this morning but have no access to their equipment or station.
They are generously referring to this lockout as a mistake by #columbia and not an attempt to shut down their #journalism coverage.
Need to keep an ear on them today.

FYI nypd spend $2.2 billion on overtime in 2022. Mayor Adams took our Sunday library services away to save $60 million.
