Uh. Is this a known #ubuntu thing? Or is this a quirk of #Wayland?
Sometimes when I bring a window from the background it stays like this, text and icons all garbled. Sometimes if I resize or jiggle it, it sorts itself out, sometimes I have to kill it.

We've all seen wobbly windows on Linux. I think it's time for an upgrade: We need to make real-time cloth simulation windows a thing!

here's an idea for the #RIIR crowd: #X11, for those use-cases where #wayland fails utterly. more useful than rewriting cat and ls in rust...

Ok, Gnome removed the X11 backend and only supports Wayland. I'd be fine with that when they finally had separated the window manager from the full session. It's just annoying¹ to get logged out because the window manager crashes again – and that happens way to often!
