Erm… I deleted my old accounts save via SaveMii (after backing it up, ofc) thinking that would fix this, but now instead of my ranking entries switching accounts they just vanish!

Changing the old accounts Mii name does not fix this, hmm…
Maybe it’s a bug with underscores on the nnid instead (LuanaNeder nnid vs Luana_Neder pnid)? Tho it’s weird that it would save based on nnid…

I restored that backup and deleted my new/current account save instead. Made a new save from scratch for this account. Bug seems to be fixed now!
Tho I didn’t really want to need to do this in order to fix it ;-;

So yeah maybe don’t try using SaveMii on Wii Fit U to migrate your nnid account save to your pnid one. It not only doesn’t work, but also (seems to) cause at least one weird bug that I only noticed after more than one (almost two by now I think?) year playing

Is anyone else’s Wii Fit U minigame ranking data getting like migrated to their old (nnid) account after rebooting or something?
I’m not sure if it’s because I renamed the old mii to like “Luana-nnid” and the new one is “Luana” or what, maybe it’s a game bug ignoring the hyphens or something and sending the ranking to the oldest account with the same name??
I thought I was getting crazy bc I never played this minigame level on the old account and the ranking was set to that, so I took a screenshot and then today the ranking I got on that day was also stolen by the old account

Yeah lmao just tested and I don’t even need to reboot the console, just restart the game
Weight data and played days don’t seem to be moved tho, just the rankings
(I do have an even older nnid account that I don’t use anymore, tho that has a different name (just “oldaccound” now) and it didn’t steal any saves)
(I don’t really remember if when moving to Pretendo I moved the mii and created a new similar one for the old account or if it was the other way around and I just created a similar mii to the new one)
(Back then I did try moving the save data between the accounts with a SaveMii, but it didn’t work for Wii Fit U (or for mk8, tho haven’t had issues with that one))

I don’t suppose there are any Wii Fit U mods that bring back the missing minigames from Wii Fit Plus right?
I guess they chose only the ones they thought were the best ones to bring back which is fair enough I guess, but some of the ones I like are missing
I’d be very cool if they kept everything from Wii Fit Plus, PLUS the new ones in U
(don’t really wanna get plus on wii mode bc then it’ll be two separate games and leaderboards and stuff, and then I probably won’t want to switch between both modes during a playtime and also I’d probably forget to switch for minigames that are available in both places)
