Most #Linux distros found out how to do this properly decades ago.

Is it just me or are all UK universities trying to impose #Windaube11(*) to all staff and students?
Shouldn't they have to allow a variety of OSes, I don't know, at least on ethical grounds or even teaching grounds?

30 Jahre Windows NT 4.

I've noticed in the last five years or so a marked increase in drivers running red lights in my town (Swarthmore, Pennsylvania) and that many of the vehicles have illegal levels of window tinting. I'm wondering, is it that aggressive (male) drivers are likely to get illegal tinting ... or is it that the tinting induces lawlessness via the anonymity it provides? Or are both factors? And then there's the boring explanation, that people simply can't see the lights through the tinting. #cars #driving #tint #tinting #windows #safety #traffic #pennsylvania #vehicles #trucks #psychology

Had to install #Windows11 and I am discovering that not only does it want to use my location, but also the only option is "Accept"
Like.. that's great, they give you the option to let it access your location (Yes) or not (No) but the only button you can click to move on, instead of being called "OK" as a normal OS would do, is called "Accept" 🤔
