I really dislike forced logoff of my email and office suite when in the middle of transcribing a meeting. Why does MS allow this? Why not make it a true service that is turned off/on when there is an update rather than so tightly integrate the stuff into the O/S and applications they need to be restarted for a minor update?
Time for more coffee while it updates.

Why is it that there is no version / distribution of #Linux that does exactly what #Windows does? Well, without the bad aspects like spying on you.

Why do windows get resized on their own when using monitors with different DPI's?
I am using one 1080p and one 4K with 100% and 200% DPI without scale-monitor-framebuffer (because I suspect that enabling it causes a weird problem) on Wayland Gnome 43.3. I have seen on Gnome’s GitLab that it is a known problem that system menu becomes very large on the 100% DPI monitor. And this is kind of understandable, because if you use the same menu, then the menu looked normal on 200% DPI would look very large on the 100% DPI monitor. The most recent #Django releases, 5.0.5 and 4.2.12 are broken. Most likely they were done on #Windows, and that obviously is sufficient to break stuff.
[UPDATE: 5.0.6 and 4.2.13 are good. Thanks a lot!]
So far, we've noticed the following issues:
1. The directory is named lowercase `django-X.Y.Z` instead of capital-case `Django-X.Y.Z` (the filename remains capital-case).
2. All files have CRLF line endings instead of LF.
3. All files that should have the executable bit, have lost it.
As a result, the releases don't pass their own tests.
I hope to report this upstream, but their Trac is down now. So you can't even download the releases right now.

Was a little shocked that IIS didn't have a mime type mapping for WEBP and also that, unlike when I was using IIS a lot 10 years ago, it's hard to find documentation to configure IIS with the UI now and instead it looks like the Apache docs telling you to edit some file...
