very apt once I got it. I just could not see it until it was forced on me! I really didn't think my 4th guess was spelled that way, but I had to try it.
So bot says 4th word wasn't a wordle word (with a very different meaning to the one I was thinking of).
I had thought of the other 2 words, but discounted them, and my 4th guess did eliminate them

I didn't know guess 4 was a word but it was just hiding the real word. #Wordle

Eventually I came to the right answer.
So I used a word on my 4th guess I was 99% sure wasn't the answer, but I needed to test letter placement and other letters. Interestingly, this word was selected as the best guess on my 3rd guess. But it suggested a different word for my 4th guess.

Had a perfectly valid word that used all the letters in ways that weren't contradicted by any of the starter word data...and it was still wrong. Doesn't happen to me that often. 🤷‍♂️ #Wordle

Killer wordle for me today. 1st user error on guess 3, then I could not think of ANY word for guess 4, was trying things at random, and it took what I would have thought was a proper name, and that got me the answer in guess 5!

Ouch, that was a first! My fingers got ahead of me and typed the same word again and pressed enter for guess 4 instead of the one I meant which was then guess 5.
What's really interesting is that for guess 4 there were "61,368 other readers did who faced the same scenario as you."
But for guess 5 where I have NO new information so the scenario is unchanged, there were "59,718 other readers did who faced the same scenario as you."
Which means how I understood that number is wrong!?!
