I mentioned that we face a (voluntary) layoff. So alot of colleagues will leave soon and someone asked me about an alumni-group ...
My first reaction was "anything except a WhatsApp Group". But what would / could work? Anyone who tried that in the past?
I guess it'll boil down to Whatsapp/Signal? I would suggest Matrix but I'm afraid it might be too alien for some?

The good thing about being back in the office and in front of my laptop all day is Inbox Zero can be maintained in a much more constant state.
Did my semi-annual purge and ‘unsubscribe’ from spam as well. With not too many faculty back yet, my email is currently feeling both slim *and* calm.
How many of the folks reading this are Inbox Zero People (ie. heavy email filterers)
