#SummerGameFest has been disappointing, with #Microsoft #Xbox having the best show out of them all.
The layoffs really killed the larger studios, and now the indie games are having to pick up the pieces. Hopefully they do well in 2024/2025.

It sucks when corpos close game studios, and I feel sorry for all those affected. I am also mildly furious, though, that #Xbox chose to close the studio behind the biggest surprise hit in recent years. Hi-fi Rush was incredible, and I was really looking forward to seeing what Tango Gameworks were going to do next. Xbox is stumbling something awful these days.

I was able to get softmodding setup up on the Xbox. ENDGAME is a really interesting way of jailbreaking. Definitely felt like a hacker when I plugged a USB stick in and suddenly the Xbox goes black and starts running arbitrary code.
