Our 80-year-old president is once again struggling to stay awake on camera.
Trump Fell Asleep on Camera Again
(He Also Fell Asleep Yesterday)
Trump’s eyes grew heavy during his cybercrime prevention roundtable on Thursday
with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, White House adviser Stephen Miller, Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin, Attorney General Todd Blanche, and FBI Director Kash Patel.
The president’s eyes were closed while Hegseth spoke about cyber…

Yesterday day it was 24 degrees, really rather warm, sunny, a bit muggy.
Yesterday evening it was the solstice.
Today is 12 degrees, so dark and wet the security lights are on, and the dogs won't go out to pee.

So I’m updating the Kitten documentation, tutorials, videos, etc., in preparation for the major (breaking change) release I’ve been working on for the past few months and, as part of that, I had to set up my streaming/recording setup again as the layout of my room changed and I recorded an updated Kitten Counter video yesterday in which I made every mistake I could in 12 minutes (so I’ll be recording it again). But here it is a a preview (and also to show that no, none of us gets it right th…

News outlets continue to carry water for this man. I rather preferred that brief news black-out yesterday.

Google Translate with an input of Trump (versus Russian or English) with the text, “But I have a big decision to make. Will a deal be made with Iran that lets them rebuild and create a far greater country than it ever was before, maybe one of the greatest in the Middle East or even the world. Or do I annihilate the Islamic Republic and do it quickly, never giving them a chance to kill and destroy people and countries again? Do I drive them into hell with no chance of survival and no hope of fut…

Also, belated #FootpathFriday...
I absolutely love board walks and southern Bavaria has a decent amount (and distance) of them due to hundreds of swamps and moors, remnants from the melting ice age glaciers...
(I thought, I had this post scheduled to go out yesterday, but somehow I messed up the dates, so now manually, one day later...)

A narrow wooden boardwalk leading into the distance near the edge of a swamp with tall reeds (on the left) and forest (on the right). Sunny, but cloudy gray sky.

Watched "Good luck, have fun, don't die" yesterday. Funny and wild dystopian. Feels very relevant and seen staring at my phone. It's also a harsh satire about the USA

The Australian national cross country championships were held yesterday in Ballarat, and I took part in the masters (old people) division. Epic conditions on a muddy course with some challenging obstacles. I was very pleased with my run and came away with the M60 age-group win. #running #strava

A man smiles for the camera, wearing mud-spattered running clothes and sporting a gold medal around his neck. He stands on a field of mud.
Text on the image says "Australian Masters XC M60 Gold medal" Distance 4.08km Time 16m55s

Trump's war has failed.
His economic policy has failed.
His trade policy has failed.
MAHA has failed.
His political project is failing.
Donald Trump is a world-altering, titanic f*ck up:
He and his team increasingly look like rapacious buffoons who are way over their head:
Yesterday our desperate, addled leader clownishly refused to answer which countries he was importing low cost beef from:
The sense of decay is everywhere
