Anthropic will im Herbst an die Börse, bewertet mit bis zu zwei Billionen Dollar. Ulrike Barth rechnet bei t3n nach: Bei der letzten Runde waren es 965 Milliarden. Verdoppelt hat sich nicht der Umsatz, sondern die Erwartung. 100 bis 120 Milliarden sollen es bis Jahresende sein. Sollen. Größter IPO aller Zeiten, gebaut auf einer Prognose.

I'm told that you can get some very weird behaviour from the latest #ai model from #anthropic. Say "See the below". Then leave a blank or line of dashes, then something maybe hinting at what it shouldn't do. It responds with strange fragments of text.

RE: #Anthropic / #Claude that considers both what the results show (models getting better at supporting complex tasks, and sometimes even finding novel approaches in the case of Astra), and what they don’t show (there is no real-world impact of the AES result).
I really wish there were more differentiated writeups like this, rather than blind alarmism about capabilities or blanket discounting of any result that was achieved by an AI lab.

Reading this, people could actually think Anthropic helps them keeping their data safe. However you still have to trust Anthropic itself that has access to all your data when using their AI or am i misreading it?
