Specifically widening out of the romantasy genre would be nice and ideally to books outside the US cultural hegemony too..
*Not a parent because parent's suggestions are somehow pure poison at this age.

But I have absolutely zero clue about which ones of these holders are any good. I know the suction mounts tend to fall off because that's what the SatNav has. Are air vent mounts any good? Magnetic mounts on the dashboard? Anyone got advice for me?

I'm driving through there with the kids and we're gonna need to stop for the night, and I'd like to do something like fossil/rock hounding, or visiting a nice place or anything that won't cause the 9yos to say "this is boring" and go back to listening to audiobooks.

Note - my sympathies are with the women & other victims, I do not need to need to read about how the perpetrators still believe their behaviour was justified. I can simply open Steam comments for that POV, tyvm!
