Best feeling ever: traded in a tube condenser I haven't used in a decade and an old audio interface, and some other random crap for these.
Then freaked out when I noticed that they have a 300Ω impedance. BUT: turns out MBP will detect and switch at the headphone jack to drive them correctly 😲

Handy als PC-Lautsprecher ( ggf. Mikrofon). Warum das cool wäre? Ich könnte vom PC direkt auf's Handy umlenken, wo ich permanent mit den Hörgeräten verbunden bin. (Hörgeräte mit mehreren Geräten verbinden ist nervig und nicht praktikabel). Bonus: es sollte via USB gehen, da auf der Arbeit das Handy sonst im VPN sein müsste (was auch noch großer Range ist).

Last thing to do today accomplished: got the Allen&Heath CQ-12T mixer's firmware updated and now it works like it's supposed to under Linux. No more distortion/audio corruption which makes me happy. Absolutely love this mixer, but I hated having to wait for those kinds of issues to get fixed.
