Vacation is over and I have a lot of photos and some Blog posts pending...
But unfortunately, I spent the last two days in a fix-my-backup*rabbit hole. That's also why I went a bit silent here.
But I think I have a good solution... I guess I'll write a blog post about this solution.

I opened my Flickr app on Android and noticed that auto-upload had stopped. When going to the settings I noticed I was unable to re-enable auto uploader. I reported a problem, got an answer within the hour, provided some more information and five minutes later the latest update was pulled. I was told to remove the app and yes re-installing the app gave me the previous version. And i was able to back up my photos again. I'd say, that was fast.
Anyone out there using flickr with auto-uploader enabled, check your settings, it might have stopped anywhere in july.
