Tuesday will be muffins for the wife. She loves my oatmeal/bran mini muffins. I cheat there as she loves the bagged mix and I add extra oat bran for her.

@rasterweb@mastodon.socialI made a cake yesterday and it wasn't great, not that good really. It's okay I guess. The issue is that we've had two cakes from Sendik's this month and this one doesn't compare to those.
Also, I don't really make cakes that often. It's probably been a few years since I made a cake.
It also didn't help that I mis-measured when making the frosting and had to then try to make my own powdered sugar.
