I think I noticed one of these surges/interruptions last night around 9PM. All the lights flashed all of a sudden.

Mother nature’s version of a double tap is a second wildfire at a town that was essentially burned off the map in 2021.
About the only good thing here is there are very few people impacted as most of the town has not been rebuilt yet despite all the initial hand ringing and nice words from BC politicians.
