I'm walking through queens plaza and I run into my wife, who's biking on the queensboro bike path. She stops for maybe two mins while I adjust her bike brakes. Someone biking by yells, "go on a date or something, but get out of the bike lane!"

My road bike has a BB30 (press-fit) bottom bracket. Yesterday I noticed it was creaking, so I pulled out my $50 BB30 removal tool, refreshed my memory on how to remove a bottom bracket with a bit of YouTube, pulled the thing apart, cleaned and greased everything, put it back together, and now it doesn’t creak. So satisfying. #BikeTooter

I kind of want to make a bumper sticker that says "Born to ride a bike, Forced to drive a car" because with the weather starting to improve I am feeling restless and also helpless.

Around 12:45 AM I met the DOT paving crew in Forest Hills, where they were laying asphalt at night so fewer New Yorkers have to commute around workzones.

Kelda Roys is not my first choice for Governor of Wisconsin but at least she's a cyclist. (And ebike rider!)
I'm really hoping Wisconsin doesn't take the route of New Jersey with regards to ebike regulations.
We have some good bike advocacy here though (and Trek) so hopefully we're safe.
