It's Friday, spring is here (a bit too early) — it feels like a good day to share another minute recording of a variation of my Actiniaria piece which I worked on last spring and think also captures that much needed #BloomScrolling spirit...

1 minute generative animation of 1000 agents/boids exhibiting self-organizing flocking behaviors. The boids are grouped in 6 different types. The colors are chosen from generated gradients. Each agent has pseudo-3D appearance and is leaving a very slowly fading trail, creating aesthetics reminiscent of sea anemones...

Two summer daisies

A horizontally elongated image. Close to the right edge find a daisy with a yellow disc and white ray flowers coming out of a green stem in perfect focus. Close to the edge find a similar one a little higher up and out of focus. The background is mostly vertically oriented irregular stripes of various shades of brown except for a green patch in the upper right corner.

In the near field a dense patch of queens annes lace with many discs facing the camera and others pointing straight up, past that a yellow field which is probably really that way but probably extra yellow from color grading and past that a line of short trees under a light blue sky that fades to white in the corners.
