Minimum step… blocking ICE on Bluesky.
If you are bridging from a Mastodon/Fediverse account to Bluesky through BridgyFed just send a Private Message to the bridgyfed account @… with the command:
"block @icegov.bsky.social”
And the block will be in place for your account. (you can do this with any account of course)

A few days ago I've seen something comparing ex-Twinnera to a privy, and praising #BlueSky.
My dear, don't you see the irony? The way I see it, you've just moved from one of Jack Dorsey's privies into another, after he let Elon and his friends shit in the middle of the floor to get some money from them. And now you're delighted, because obviously the same thing won't happen again.

Why isn't there an "all of the above" button?

I saw a nice initiative for an european BlueSky instance. I am always wondering why people don't like Mastodon?
For me Bluesky and Mastodon can co-exist but many people disagree 🙂

Vor genau einem Jahr war ich eine Woche bei @… zu Gast. Fast unmöglich das Zeug jetzt noch zu finden (scrollen?), aber es war eine lustige Woche.
Ein wenig schade, dass das ganze auf #Bluesky stattfindet statt im #Fediverse aber man kann wenigstens über die Brücke folgen.

I was thinking of joining bluesky but I'm confused and overwhelmed trying to determine which instance I should join.
Should I join the W instance? Or the Blacksky instance? Or the bsky-app?

Dear @… from what I am gathering from your comments elsewhere is that it is possible to block only the Bluesky part of the ATProto network from being bridged with @… and leave BlackSky and other independent AT instances? Could you go into detail on on a procedure for that? This could be a powerful pro-federation response in addition to making a statement on ICE and Bluesky.
