A beautiful day for a viewtiful bridge. This is Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol, England. It is about 160 years old, and has been maintained by a toll for all that time. #bridges #views

Two squat brick tiers support an elegant cable suspended bridge span that passes at great height over a river gorge. A view across woods and farmland stretches behind.

found another abandoned bridge today. very steep, deep railway cutting.

looking up at an old and tall victorian bridge. 2 out of three arches in view. blue engineering bricks with red brick on the inner underside of arches. the top is covered in ivy and there is very long stems of ivy hanging down like green leafy ropes. it is surrounded by tall trees. sunlight shining through.

6.7km leisurely river walk in the valley last Friday. Great views throughout but seeing this mare with braids was special. She even walked up to us to show her best side. 🐴 😍
