here is another disused bridge i found earlier this week.

view along a narrow disused Victorian road bridge over a railway not long before sunset. some graffiti on the right hand wall. a couple of concrete blocks for some reason. there is no road leading to it any more. maybe to stop farm vehicles, maybe it wouldn't handle the weight. over grown with brambles. the blackberries tasted bad also.

Two squat brick tiers support an elegant cable suspended bridge span that passes at great height over a river gorge. A view across woods and farmland stretches behind.

view along the walkway over a steel footbridge with shiny new paint. dark blue. there are railings then solid steel plates either side. the reflections on the steel plates looks like a row of trees on the horizon, but it ain't. it is just how the gloopy paint is reflecting randomly the dusky light. edit; i suppose it might have something to do with trees. i will have to go back one day / dusk and check.

found another abandoned bridge today. very steep, deep railway cutting.

looking up at an old and tall victorian bridge. 2 out of three arches in view. blue engineering bricks with red brick on the inner underside of arches. the top is covered in ivy and there is very long stems of ivy hanging down like green leafy ropes. it is surrounded by tall trees. sunlight shining through.
