Lots of media saying that it's a huge gamble for Zack to try and win Starmer's seat.
As though they think if he loses the media will all call for him to resign. 😆 They're doing that either way, duh.
A bigger gamble would be to put forward a lesser candidate and lower the chances of winning.

Less than a year ago Starmer argued that a mayor couldn't stand down early because of the cost to the party and the country of running an election.
Today we learn he is gonna quit being an MP.
I' not quite in the seat, but I'm close enough I could go campaign I suppose.
