It's a familiar sight at schools across the country: a line of slow-moving vehicles pulling up to the curb before a child jumps out. A similar scene plays out in the afternoons, only with children hopping into cars waiting to pick them up.

Including original all seasons, I think this is my 3rd set of "summer/allseason". Going with high mileage Nokian One.
This will be the end of a 3rd set of winters.
Not cheap, but the most important part on the road.
I've probably bought 12 sets of tires at the same Kaltire shop over the past 25 years across 4 cars.
They're good people.

Took my car to the dealer for a complimentary annual maintence today.
They told me the cabin air filter was not covered and it needed to be replaced, they did show me a very dirty filter before asking if I wanted them to replace it.
I agreed in the moment to the $117 cost. I think it was about 50% parts and 50% labor.
But I've now looked it up, and it's an incredibly simple thing to replace and is a $20 part. So never again.
