Since two weeks we have another rescue cat. Please welcome three years old Theodore. Its former owner suffered from dementia and unfortunately had to give up taking care of. He currently is getting used to the house and our resident senior Kasimir. Recently a new #cat started walking through the neighborhood. Since he tends to be singing while he's walking, I provisionally named him Jaskier (for the Witcher character, lit. buttercup, though renamed to Dandelion in translation).

We need to keep the #cats' food fresh on days when no-one's around to feed them at lunchtime and it's too warm to leave lots of food out at breakfast, which is what I've been doing. We were given a feeder so I've cleaned it up and am testing that it works. My theory is that it will at least keep flies off fresh food. If it goes well I might upgrade to one that keeps food chilled. …
